For the first time at the AACR Annual Meeting 2015 in Philadelphia, a Wrap-up Session was held to summarize some of the most promising and exciting research presented during the five days of the meeting. Annual Meeting 2015 Program Committee Chairperson Lewis C. Cantley, PhD, presented a summary of the stellar discoveries in basic science; AACR President (2014-2015) Carlos L. Arteaga, MD, presented a summary of the potentially practice-changing clinical and translational research data; Director of the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center and Editor-in-chief of Cancer Today William G. Nelson, MD, PhD, summarized the latest advances in early detection and prevention; and AACR President (2015-2016) Josรฉ Baselga, MD, PhD, presented the vision for the future. The session was moderated by AACR President-elect Nancy E. Davidson, MD.
