“Thankfulness creates gratitude which generates contentment that causes peace.” — Todd Stocker
We all have something significant to be thankful for. It’s common to every member of the staff and faculty. It’s what binds us and brings us together, day after day.
We can all be thankful that our skills and talents, our labors, victories and yes, occasional frustrations, are making a difference.
Although it is sometimes difficult to recognize and understand the scope and scale of what we are accomplishing at the GRU Cancer Center, be aware that the sum of what we do far exceeds to total of its many parts. We are affecting our community on a daily basis. We are making scientific breakthroughs, initiating treatments and educating– all activities that draw positive attention to our work consistently and constantly.
We are making a difference. Not everyone can say that. You can. And for that, we should all be thankful.
